Teen depression is not a phase.  The risk of suicide among depressed teens is scary.  Recent statistics show that more teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, combined.
