Chris Taylor

Christopher Taylor, is a therapist, author, and speaker, who has over 20 years of experience as a parent-teen expert.

Chris is passionate about helping families to move past conflict and restore a sense of peace and laughter in their homes. He understands firsthand the challenges that families face and uses humor as a way to lesson the tension and put families at ease.

Over the course of his career, Chris has worked with both state and local governments to develop and implement programs to ensure services are effective and structured in a way that engages teens and their families.  

Chris is the author and creator of the The Healthy Teen Parenting Program, consisting of the book, workbook and online course.  He has contributed to multiple print media publications, and has appeared on TV to discuss his views and present the Back to Basics Program

As an accomplished public speaker Chris has inspired audiences to make positive change for their families by identifying barriers and understanding the requirement for change.  He is available for organizations and groups both large and small to help alleviate the stress that the teenage years cause.

 

James Rogers

James Rogers is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked with youth and families for the last 10 years in a variety of settings, ranging from schools, community organizations, and mental health services.

Through working with resilient people from all walks of life James has developed a greater appreciation for everyone’s therapeutic journey. Wether your teen is experiencing big changes in their lives such as divorce, major transitions or emotional and behavioral difficulties, James has the tools and skills to help them thrive. In addition, he also works with parents on improving parenting and decreasing conflict to stay connected.

James strives to create an environment that is supportive and compassionate so that you can experience healing and growth. He believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” form of therapy. Instead, he partners with his clients to support them in the most helpful way possible.

Having received trainings in trauma and grief, he is a Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Grief Informed Professional. Through the trauma-informed lens, James involves narrative, attachment, and cognitive-behavioral elements into therapy. With children specifically,he will often utilize play and art-based therapeutic interventions.

James is passionate about his work with families and is ready to come alongside you as you take your next step toward healing and growth.
